We realize that most of you are experts in your fields and already have a lot of speaking experience. However, when we market you to our clients, we are asked for specific information; if we are unable to provide that information, the speaker often does not get booked. Before we can submit you for speaking engagements, we need to receive the following information:
- A one to two page biography.
A condensed curriculum vitae can also be submitted, but cannot replace the biography.
- A list of clients to whom you have spoken.
- Testimonials from people who have heard you speak.
These can be letters or references with phone numbers.
- A description of presentations with titles that will interest an audience.
A short synopsis of what is included in the speech should be included. Please review our website for how we present this information.
- A professional, high resolution photo.
Color photographs are preferred.
- Any collateral material.
For example, major articles written by or about you, book(s) you have authored, or audio tape series.
- A demo videotape of you speaking.
This is very important and must represent your style of speaking. It should be a video of you speaking before an audience. It can include excerpts from previous speeches, interviews on TV shows, audience reactions, and the speaker explaining his/her background and topics. The length of the video should be appropriate to the amount of time it takes for you to get your point across.
- A fee schedule or range.
- A list of bureaus who represent you through their websites.
